Plaster and Masonry Mortars
Water Retention and Spreading
Plastering mortar needs to spread smoothly over a wall. Masonry mortar is placed between bricks or blocks. HPMC cellulose ether helps these mortars retain water. HPS starch ether helps adjust consistency and makes the mortar easier to apply.
Bonding and Early Strength
RDP polymer powder and PVA 2488 are used to improve bonding in dry-mix mortar. Calcium formate helps cement harden and develop strength earlier. These products have different functions and are selected according to the mortar being made.
