USE THE RIGHT ADDITIVES AND REDUCE WASTE
Choose Additives by Use
First Identify the Need
Choosing an additive starts with the problem to be solved. A water-retaining additive, a water reducer and a reinforcing fiber each serve a different purpose.
- To help mortar retain water: HPMC cellulose ether.
- To improve bonding and flexibility: RDP polymer powder.
- To improve flow with less water: PCE superplasticizer.
- To help reduce plastic shrinkage cracks: polypropylene fiber.
Use Materials for a Reason
Weiteng’s aim is to make good use of each material and avoid unnecessary additions. Start by choosing materials for their intended use.
