Product Applications
USES IN MORTAR, CONCRETE, TILE ADHESIVE AND WALL PUTTY
Concrete and Self-Leveling Materials
Flow with Less Water
Polycarboxylate superplasticizer, or PCE, helps concrete and mortar flow more easily with less water. It is used in ready-mix concrete, precast concrete, cement-based self-leveling materials and grouting materials.
Other Additives Have Different Jobs
Polypropylene fiber is used to help control plastic shrinkage cracks. Calcium formate is used to help cement gain strength earlier. Their main functions differ from those of a water-reducing additive.
- For water reduction and flow: PCE superplasticizer.
- For plastic-shrinkage crack control: polypropylene fiber.
- For early strength: calcium formate.
