What the fibers do
Polypropylene Fiber (PP Fiber) consists of short fibers made from polypropylene. When evenly dispersed, the fibers form a network inside concrete or mortar that helps limit plastic shrinkage cracks.
The fibers can also improve toughness and impact resistance. They need to be distributed evenly throughout the mix.
Common uses
PP fibers are used in ready-mix concrete, cement mortar, plaster mortar, floor screeds and precast concrete products.
